Don't you have to be really fit?
All we ask is that you have a moderate level of fitness. You don't have to be Mr or Mrs Incredible but you cannot attempt any extreme sports if you have a heart condition or are pregnant. As long as you alert us on the Booking Form to any medical conditions you may have, we then help you to enjoy your Extreme Sport to your individual level. And you can stop and pick up at any time. No one will force you to do anything!
I'd love to come with my family but we have young children, will they be able to do it?
Our minimum age limit for tuition is 5yrs for skiing and 7yrs for snowboarding and this is widely recognised for beginners across the board. But if your children are under 5yrs and can already hold their own in an Extreme Sport then they are welcome to join in fully.
Younger children can partake in the whole holiday too with sledging, bob slay, kinderland and the Club Hotel has a day nursery on request.
How much Extreme Sport will I be doing each day?
To get the most out of your holiday our expert instructors recommend about 2.5hours Extreme Tuition per day. Beginners are normally taught in the mornings, intermediates and advanced are normally taught in the afternoons.
What if I've got my own equipment?
If you'd prefer to use your own equipment there is a reduction in cost, please refer to our price guide. You may be liable for airline carriage of the equipment (about £15-£30) but we will let you know at time of flight booking.
What else is there to do?
Loads! It depends what you're into - aside from the pumping nightlife Davos has to offer, how about night riding, heli boarding, snowmobiles, tobogganing, swimming fitness centre, sauna, ice skating, tennis, cinema, casino, museums restaurants...? This place has got the lot!
What if there is no snow?
That is something that we cannot guarantee and although Davos has formidable snow statistics, there will be occasions when Mother Nature falls short. But never fear! Davos has outstanding artificial snow making machinery available in 4 of the 5 mountain areas.
